We made it to Boston!
After great anticipation and planning, FMJ has made it to Boston, Mass. Our booth is now open and we’re ready to meet you here at IFMA’s Facility Fusion Conference and Expo–going on until this Friday, March 25.
Our day started off with a thought-provoking opening session on the evolution of FM, followed by an intriguing session by James Spellos on the “Do’s and Don’ts of Creating Your Online Presence.” What he mentioned about combining your personal and professional status updates is what constitutes the very nature of social media–although I realize it’s a tough concept to grasp for some. We at FMJ would like to send him a big THANK YOU for using our blog as an example to follow.
After a few morning interviews, we shifted to a briefing on IFMA’s new Sustainability Facility Professional™ credential and the opening keynote/luncheon with Jason Dorsey on “Crossing the Generational Divide: Making the Four Generations in Your Workforce a Competitive Advantage in Any Economy.” The afternoon was followed by more interviews and photo opps–all awaiting for the expo grand opening.
If you’re at the conference, look for us at our booth or follow the video/photo cameras…we always look forward to meeting our readers.
Have a great week!
